Bangladesh cricketer Tamim Iqbal Suffers from Heart Attack

Bangladeshi cricketer Tamim Iqbal suffered from a heart attack during the local match in Bangladesh. He was playing a match in the DPL (Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League) that was being played in Savar. Bangladeshi cricketer Tamim Iqbal has retired from international cricket. It is reported by the Bangladeshi media that Tamim Iqbal was treated via an emergency angioplasty in the local hospital after Tamim Iqbal complained of a blockage during the first match.

During the match, Tamim Iqbal complained of chest pain, and he was rushed through a local hospital named KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing Home. Moreover, he was the captain of the team Mohammedan Sporting Club, and the match was against Shinepukur Cricket Club. However, Tamim Iqbal returned to the ground so that he could be shifted to another hospital via airlift. Local BKSP Coach Montu Datta said that Tamim Iqbal was in high spirits during the time of the toss and left for the hospital in her own car.

Moreover, the Bangladeshi media reported that Tamim Iqbal's heart attack was reported positive by the local doctors; however, he was treated successfully by the local doctors, and he is still under observation so that there are no other issues. The Bangladeshi local doctors' official statement said, "He [Tamim] returned to us in a critical condition. We can call it a heart attack, and we subsequently did an angiogram and angioplasty to remove the blockage."

Moreover, Tamim Iqbal is a star of Bangladesh, and he is a star cricketer as well. He has played in the IPL, BPL, and PSL on many occasions, and his batting style has created a lot of a fan following globally. Tamim Iqbal is aged 35, and he has scored 15,000 across all formats, and he has scored 25 centuries as well, which is the highest by any Bangladeshi cricketer.
