CSK Managed to Defeat LSG in IPL 2025

Chennai Super Kings managed to overcome the odds and defeated Lucknow Super Giants. This was Chennai Super Kings' first victory in IPL 2025. Chennai Super Kings have somewhat similar issues to Peshawar Zalmi, like management and wrong player selections. However, yesterday it seems that Chennai Super Kings learned from their mistake, and they dropped Ashwin for the first time in IPL history.

Lucknow Super Giants batted first, and everything was going according to plan as Mitchell Marsh made 30 runs by playing 25 balls as the innings was about to start, but wrong shot selection caused Mitchell Marsh's wicket. However, Rishabh Pant was the star for Lucknow Super Giants, and he made 63 runs by playing 49 balls. These two were stars of the Lucknow Super Giants batting innings. Noor Ahmad was the real star bowler for Chennai Super Kings, as he only conceded 13 runs, which is very rare in T20 matches. Moreover, Ravindra Jadeja was another blowing star for Chennai Super Kings; he took two wickets and only conceded 24 runs in 3 overs.

In reply, Chennai Super Kings got a good early start due to Shaik Rasheed and Rachin Ravindra. Shaik Rasheed made 27 runs by playing 19 balls, and Rachin Ravindra made 37 runs by only playing 19 balls. However, the real stars were Shivam Dube and MS Dhoni because CSK were again about to lose this match against LSG due to their middle-order collapse. However, Shivam Dube managed to make 43 runs by facing 37 balls, and MS Dhoni made 26 runs by facing 11 balls only, which allowed CSK to win the match.
