For the First time Islamabad has its first SHO Appointed as a Female
A female sub-inspector has been promoted to the level of Station House Officer (SHO) in Phulgran police station, Islamabad. Pakistan is diversifying, and this is the prime proof that a lady named Misbah Shehbaz has been posted as SHO of Phulgran Police Station, which is an achievement. Yes, this article does not want to disregard her achievements and qualifications or indicate that just because of being a lady, she was promoted. Of course, she has the skills and qualifications to be appointed at this level. However, the point is that this is the first time a lady has been appointed to this post in Islamabad.
This promotes gender equality, which is very important for any nation. This ensures promotion merits and disregards favoritism and demerits in the selection process. Pakistan has been very good regarding gender equality, as Pakistan witnessed its first-ever prime minister as a lady, Benazir Bhutto, the mother of Bilawal Bhutto. She was also the wife of President Asif Ali Zardari. Moreover, now Pakistan has also witnessed its first-ever female Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, who is the daughter of Nawaz Sharif, the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan.
