Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were convicted in the Al Qadir Trust case.

Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were convicted in the Al Qadir Trust case.

After 3 times of delaying the judgment by Judge Nasir Javed Rana, and now he finally announced the verdict (today) in the most waited-for and most hyped case, Al Qadir Trust (190 million Pound Case).

Yesterday, there was hope for PTI that this time the decision would be delayed again so that negotiation would be fruitful and not get carried away; however, this was not the case, and judgment was announced by the accountability court Judge Nasir Javed Rana.

Imran Khan has been awarded a sentence of 14 years of imprisonment, and his wife, Bushra Bibi, has been awarded 7 years of imprisonment. Imran Khan is already in judicial custody in multiple cases, and now he is officially convicted as well as Bushra Bibi, as she was on bail, and now both will be arrested in this case.

Moreover, Imran Khan was also fined 1 million PKR, and he has to pay; otherwise, if the fine is not paid, then he will face a sentence of another 6 months due to nonpayment of the fine. Furthermore, Bushra Bibi has to pay 0.5 million. If payment is not made, then she has to face 3 months of additional imprisonment.

The judgment further states that the Al Qadir Trust is now in the custody of the government, and it is handed over to the government.

PTI officially says that this is injustice, as this is unfair, a black day, and by convicting both (Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi), no one will benefit from this. It seems that the court cannot provide justice to Imran Khan, they said.
