India cannot stop Pakistan water via Indus River as it is impossible
Experts suggest that India is just playing politics for public face-saving, as it is nearly impossible to stop Pakistan's water via the Indus River. International experts regarding geographic and water resources suggest that India is playing mind games with Pakistan at the moment, as India's maximum ability to stop Pakistan's water is 1-1.5 MCF (million cubic feet). The total Pakistani flow of the Indus River's yearly flow of water is 135-140 MCF. However, Pakistan has warned that India will not be able to stop a single drop of water that belongs to Pakistan otherwise. If India tries to block Pakistan's share of water, then India will be responsible for its actions and consequences.
Experts like Dr. Hassan Abbas suggest that either India does not have available infrastructure to store this much water, or it will be done prematurely. He said that it is impossible for India to stop the flow of water that follows from the mountains. He said that India would be required to invest billions and billions of USD dollars to make it practical, even though that could take several decades. He said, Why would India invest this much in such a project, where China can create an issue because the water comes from Tibet and such projects require massive surveys, experts, and flood risk? The biggest issue is relocating the people who are living there.
Every expert is suggesting that India is playing mind games with Pakistan. India will never want to go to war with Pakistan, and diplomatically every country will be on Pakistan's side, because you cannot stop water. Even the UN demands a fair share of water, and India would also be violating several laws if it even tried to block Pakistan's share of water from the Indus River. India has been very eager and childish since India failed to get support for attacking Pakistan on 7th May, and since then India cannot control its emotions.
