Meta Ending Fact Check Exclusive for US.

Meta's announcement of the sudden end to fact-checking has shocked many. Mark Zuckerberg announced that Meta will not be available in the US soon, and it will be ended exclusively in the USA only. This is a copy-paste of the X (Twitter) policy, and it will be replaced by community notes, which are not as effective as fact checks. Check social media posts and claims, and if the claims are wrong or propaganda, then it notifies the community.

Social media activists and officials in the USA have mixed reviews as they see that this decision is only to please Donald Trump and to reconcile with him and his party. Many experts view this as a terrible decision, because many times, people use social media as a weapon to spread propaganda and agenda. Therefore, at times, people cannot see if things posted on social media are fake or real, and even at times deep fakes can make them think that they are watching a real video, which later turns out to be fake. Fact-checking helped people to know if it was fake or real.
