NA Committee Approves Salary Hike for MNAs, Senators

Today, NA's Standing Committee on Finance approved recommendations to raise salaries, privileges, and allowances for MNSs and senators to the level of federal secretary.

The committee was chaired and headed by the National Assembly speaker, Ayaz Sadiq, and all members of the standing committee attended the meeting, including PMLN, PPP, and PTI. All political parties agreed to increase salaries, including privileges and allowances, and the recommendation was approved by all parties' consensus.

MNAs and senators' salaries would be increased to 519,000, and the speaker would send the recommendation to PM Shahbaz Sharif. The issue was highlighted by all parties, and their salaries should increase.

Reports say that some MNAs demanded their salaries increase up to 1 million; however, that summary was totally rejected by the NA speaker.
