Pakistan IT exports reached to its highest number in December 2024

Despite the Internet outage, shutdown, line cuts, or speed slowdown, Pakistan managed to make record figures in IT exports for the month of December 2024. Pakistan managed to make US$348 million via IT exports, which is the highest ever IT export based on a month-to-month basis for Pakistan.

IT export in December 2024 is a 15% increase compared to December 2023, while it is also a 12% increase compare to November 2024. The IT minister congratulated IT business personnel and said that we will easily achieve our target of US$3.5 billion this F25, and it will witness another increase in next FY26. 

Minister for IT said that IT exports have increased around 28% (US 1.86 billion dollars) in the first half of FY25 compared to the first half of FY24.
