Pakistan Launches INX Maritime Service for Direct Europe Access

Recently, cargo coming from the EU to Pakistan or Pakistan to the EU has been facing delays due to Middle Eastern tensions. However, Pakistan has made a significant move by launching INX (India North Express) maritime services, which is a direct route towards Europe, with faster and more efficient service.

According to reports, this service is set to launch on February 6th, and it will be connected directly with European countries' routes. The route will start from the Karachi port area. The ships are expected to carry around 6000 containers and conclude the full round trip within 11 weeks, which is a major boost, and it saves time.

Moreover, it is expected this will boost Pakistan's exports in Europe, as GSP+ did not increase Pakistan's exports that they expected or hoped for. GSP+ status could not help Pakistan increase its exports like other countries did in Europe. It is expected to reduce the time gap, provide more efficient service, and will provide more enhanced routes.

It will allow Pakistan to increase its business ties with European countries and boost partnerships. INX will help Pakistan to access European markets, because every business wants products to be delivered at the earliest and on time.
