The second round of booking for Hajj starts in Pakistan.

Every year many Muslims from all over the world go to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, and it is in massive numbers. This year, the government has started, from today, to accept 5000 seat applications based on first come, first served, as there will be no reserve or blocking of the seats.

Tahir Mehmood yesterday said in his video message that they would start accepting bookings for remaining 5000 seats from 10th January 2025, and they will also work to improve the management and service. He also said that they will try to improve arrangements, and more importantly, he said that people who are traveling for Hajj need to follow laws and conditions, as it is mandatory.

Earlier, it was announced by officials that, if a woman wishes to perform Hajj, then she will need the permission of her husband or her parents. The government is also focusing on shifting the Hajj management to private companies to improve services and management. According to reports, there has been a reduction in companies that operate for Hajj, and reports say that the companies that operate for Hajj went from 500 to 162 last year.

Moreover, people who wish to book for Hajj must deposit 600,000 PKR, which will be in two installments. Moreover, the ministry has said that under the scheme only 5000 seats will be available, and it will not increase, so the service has been made strictly based on first come, first served.

Moreover, earlier the government accepted 81,500 applications for Hajj, and now 5,000.
