Pakistan to Pace up the production of JF 17 to 30 Units Yearly

The Pakistan Air Force, with the joint venture with China, decided last year that Pakistan will pace up the production of JF-17 Thunder Block 3 to 30 units yearly. This is the statement from last year, but now this statement value is more important today because Pakistan was almost going to full-scale war against India. There is no doubt that Pakistan has shown India its place, and yes, by the will of the Pakistan Army and its people, they have won the war against India. India has to request directly to the US to stop Pakistan's onslaught against India.

There is a clear statement except for Azerbaijan, as they are going to purchase Pakistan-made JF-17 Thunder Block 3 from Pakistan. Maybe many people do not know that Pakistan makes its own jets, the JF-17 Thunder, via a joint venture with China, which was signed in 2010 by the government of Pakistan. This contact and joint venture with China has helped Pakistan to save forex as well as pace the production to compete with South Asia. India's production rate of Tejas is very slow, and maybe they are only able to make 3 to 6 units on a yearly basis. Additionally, India has never used Tejas in a combat situation; however, Pakistan has shown the capabilities of the JF-17 Thundered to the PL-15.

There are experts like Amir Hussian who suggest that Pakistan is going to be the 2nd best air force in South Asia, as China, of course, will be first. Pakistan's desire is to pace up the quantity of JF-17 Thunder to 200 units, and it will help Pakistan to retire old planes. However, the 200-unit quota can go out of the window due to India's warnings against Pakistan that they are saying that the current operation is just a pause due to the embarrassment India has to face by Pakistan. It is expected that Pakistan will rapidly increase the production of JF-17 Thunder Block 3, and then it has announced that Pakistan will introduce JF-17 Thunder Block 4, which will have a dual engine, and it will be a 4.5 Gen Jet. Moreover, it will be the first time Pakistan will be producing 4.5 gen.

PAF by 2030 will be moving forward to Gen 5 jets, which are stealth jets, and Pakistan is focusing on getting J-35Cs, which China has not exported to anyone yet; however, there are rumors that Pakistan will be getting these jets by late 2026 to early 2028. However, it is very important for Pakistan to invest in an air defense system, which was the only weakness of Pakistan against India.
