Pakistan's Textile Exports Secure $3 Billion in Orders, Defying Economic Hurdles

Heimtextil is located in Germany, and it is an international textile trade event, just like an IT trade event or technology trade event that happens all around the world. Around 2700 exhibitors are registered, and data states that it has about 67,000 trade visitors. Therefore, we can say that it is an international trade center for the textile business.

Pakistani textile exports managed a breakthrough, and they secured export orders worth a total of US$3 billion at Heimtextil, and APTMA (All Pakistan Textile Mills Association)  states that this is a major breakthrough and a positive achievement for Pakistani textile exporters, which are struggling due to expensive electricity, expensive gas, and hefty taxes.

APTMA says that Faisalabad played a key role in this because they were already working on this for a year. Furthermore, they said that the PM's vision to generate exports worth US 100 billion dollars can be achieved if textile exporters are given a free hand and subsidies via gas and electricity prices, and it will be achievable.
