Punjab Education Department decides not to extend winter holidays for schools.

The Punjab Education Department last year announced the winter holiday schedule for schools, and the holiday started from December 23rd to January 10th, but students' classes will start from January 13th. Due to extensive smoke, rumors were sparked on social media that the Punjab Education Department might extend winter holidays by one to two weeks, and the criticism also started from the parents side that education should not be delayed due to the extension and classes should start on time.

The rumors were proved wrong as the Punjab Education Department said that rumors about extensions are not true and schools will open at the announced date, and there will be no extension, and the announcement and news were welcomed by the parents as the education and schools should not be delayed. However, 13th January (Monday) still has 5 days to go, and in Pakistan, matters can be changed overnight.
