Senator Advices massive increase Defense Budget Amid India War

Senator Faisal Vawda suggested to the house (Senate) that we must somehow sort out how to increase the defense budget massively. He suggested that we should increase the salary of Army personnel as well. Many Pakistanis will want to increase defense not because of war with India but also due to security issues as well. The Pakistan Army must offer the best weapons and the best products to deal with terrorism in Pakistan and to defeat India as well. There is no doubt that Pakistan defeated India from May 6th/7th to May 8th; however, this is the right time to assess the weakness and correct it.

First, the Pakistan Army should increase the pace of JF-17 Thunder Block 3 production and stop any export orders, as the Pakistan Army should increase their jet numbers as India is going to purchase more jets via MRFA, which India is asking to fill tenders. Many countries, including France and Russia, which are developing top-of-the-line jets, have also filled out the tenders. However, PAF showed the world that pilots are a very important aspect of the air force, which was acknowledged by every international media outlet when they verified that, yes, Pakistan shot down 6 Indian jets, including Rafael.

Pakistan should think about upgrading air defense as well, and they should now prioritize buying more defense goods from China, including strengthening the navy as well. Therefore, the government of Pakistan and stakeholders must increase the budget of the army so that they can purchase the best equipment, especially the J-35, which is a 5th-gen jet and can give Pakistan the technical upper hand against India, and Pakistan would have a more lethal response to India.
