Toyota Motors remains the top brand in car sales, and it has been continuous for Toyota Motors for 5 years. Toyota Motors is not only famous in countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka, but it is also very famous in the Middle East, Asia, and African countries. 

Toyota Motor sold around 10.8 million vehicles globally in 2024, which is 3.7% less than 2023 sales of Toyota vehicles globally. However, Toyota Motor's sales drop in 2024 was due to some certification issues, which impacted Daihatsu's sales overall, and Toyota hybrids contributed majorly to sales, contributing almost 41% of total sales of Toyota.

However, Toyota sales still have issues in China, and they are less compared to other countries due to tough competition.

Toyota's competition, Volkswagen, sold around 9 million cars in 2024, and its sales were also less compared to 2023 by 2.3%.
