US Denies Any Travel Ban on Pakistan

The US bluntly denied the travel ban on Pakistan and said that it is fake news. Recently, social media and mainstream media posted news that Pakistan would be on the list of travel ban countries regarding the US enhancing its security management and strict action against the majority of Muslim countries due to security concerns of the US.

Moreover, recently US President Donald Trump said, "Thank you, Pakistan, for its cooperation in handing over the killer and mastermind of 12 US army personnel, and it was a major achievement for the Pakistani government.  The US president has been adopting a hostile approach against many countries, including Ukraine, India, and European countries, and it was unique for Pakistan and even for US lawmakers that Donald Trump personally thanked Pakistan for its cooperation.

Moreover, even the US CIA chief thanked Pakistan in a personal capacity.  However, after that, there was news circulating that Pakistan, among other Muslim countries, including Afghanistan, would face a travel ban due to US security concerns, which made many Pakistanis holding US visit visas worried that they might not be able to visit the US due to the upcoming travel ban by the US. Moreover, it was not just reported by one news channel; in fact, it was reported that the majority, or almost all, mainstream channels in Pakistan would be facing a travel ban by the US due to their upgrade towards security border management.

However, the US State Department termed the news fake and said that there is no truth in this news.  The US State Department further stated that there are no plans for a travel ban, and they are not making such a list. The US also committed to Afghans, which helped them during the war on terror in Afghanistan.

Additionally, the US clearly said that Pakistan will not face any kind of travel ban, and there are no plans to ban Pakistan from traveling to the US.  Mainstream media and social media should avoid such news.\
