US President Announces 25% Tariff against India from 1st August

Today, the US president announced that India would now be subjected to a 25% tariff against Indian goods exported to the US, and it will be applied from 1st August. This is not the first time Donald Trump has announced that a tariff will be applied to a country. In fact, the US president has written letters to different countries warning them that they will be subject to a tariff for exporting their goods to the US. Moreover, Ishaq Dar has sent Pakistan's finance minister to the US to draw a conclusion on Pakistan's trade deal with the US, and it is expected that it will be announced by today or tomorrow.

Moreover, it is worth mentioning that Donald Trump has now mentioned that he has stopped the Pakistan and India war, and now it is up to 30 times that Donald Trump has said that he was the one that forced both Pakistan and India to reach a ceasefire; otherwise, they would not be allowed to trade with the US, and all trade goods or services would be stopped in the US. This warning made both countries stop the war, according to US president Donald Trump, and he takes the credit for the ceasefire between Pakistan and India.

However, now Pakistan is trying its best to reach a deal with the US for the trade deal, and it is expected that Pakistan will reach the trade deal soon with the US. If not today or tomorrow, it is expected that people will get some kind of update in this regard. Moreover, US President Donald Trump also announced that India would also be subjected to a penalty due to trading with Russia and importing Russian oil. It might be that India's tariff would be higher than 25% for exporting their goods to the US.
