WhatsApp Launches in app translation Features

WhatsApp is owned by Meta, and it has started to introduce or deploy its own in-app translation features. However, the feature is only for selected users to try out and give feedback. Moreover, at the moment it is a beta version; therefore, bugs and issues will be common and a hassle for users that are using it or testing it.

“According to WABetaInfo, the new capability is available to those using beta version 2.25.12.25, with a broader public rollout expected in the near future.:” The Express Tribune highlighted."

This beta feature allows selected users to translate different languages, which are written and will be translated via WhatsApp app translation features. The major advantage of WhatsApp app translation features is that the language translation is performed on the phone, and it allows users to use it without the internet.

It is reported that if users desire to download this feature, they must download it specifically or separately to enable this feature on their phones. When it is installed on the phone, the users can toggle translation on the chat information screen. It can be used or activated for group conversation as well.
