Pakistan achieved a milestone after 14 years: the government of Pakistan was able to post a current account surplus of USD 2.1 billion after 14 years.
As expected, Pakistan has posted a current account deficit of US 103 million due to low interest rates and falling exports.
Pakistan, yet again for the month of April 2025, has posted a US 12 million dollar surplus as Pakistan keeps its commitments towards reforms.
US President announced figures of Tariff of different countries and among that list of Pakistan was hit by 29% tariff.
